"Education is the armament of peace." (Maria Montessori, 1949)

Who We Are

We are a global community committed to reforming education to be consistent with the Convention on the Rights of the Child through the implementation of a rights-based education that includes the provision of comprehensive information about the rights afforded to the individual as well as the values that underpin these rights and the mechanisms for their protection. The outcome is to develop critically literate, rights-respecting citizens who, together, are empowered to uphold human rights and question the root causes of social injustice to establish lasting international peace and security.
